AI GLOSSARY

Sensor Fusion

Sensor fusion is the process of integrating data from multiple sensors to produce a more accurate, comprehensive understanding of an environment or system. By combining different types of sensor inputs, such as cameras, radar, and accelerometers, sensor fusion improves the reliability and precision of information, and is often used in applications like autonomous vehicles and robotics. This approach helps reduce uncertainty and enhances decision-making by leveraging the strengths of various sensor types.
